| | Details:Untitled (Playing Dog) A ladder that leads to the moon and is inhabited by a gomphosus is floating in a yellow universe. Another moon, lying on its back, is caught in the tail of a juggling dog. All of this is happening on a blue Earth on the right side of the picture that seems to partake in the animal’s game. It is typical for Miró that he did not give this lithograph a name, so that interpreting the work is left to the viewer’s imagination. However, we need titles in order to talk about works of art, so it has become common to call this one “Playing dog”.
