| | Details:Donaueschinger Musiktage - Original Lithograph Poster, 1964 The Music Days Festival of the German town of Donaueschingen celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2021. This poster by Pierre Soulages marked the beginning of the collaboration with the Swiss Erker Gallery and Press in 1964, followed by other artists' posters with works by Serge Poliakoff (1965), Hans Arp (1966), Ernst Wilhelm Nay (1967) Antoni Tàpies (1968), Joan Miro (1969), HAP Grieshaber (1970), Fritz Wotruba (1971) and others. These early, original graphic posters are sought-after collector's items today. While their works were large-format invitations to the Music Days, the names of the respective artists appeared only in the printed note in the lower margin of the posters, as is the case with this one (see photo 2).
