The adventurous cat could of course also be a begging puppy dog with its ears pricked in expectation. Whatever you associate with the lines, shapes and colours in the picture and weave in with your imagination - it would have all been right with Joan Miró. Leaving out names for his picture was his cheerful manner of engaging with his viewers for whom he painted his pictures.

This is N O T a mass-produced reprint (photomechanical reproduction such as photo lithographs or giclée prints) but the original lithograph from 1975, exactly as referenced in the applicable catalogue raisonné.
Sizes: ca. 32 x 24,5 cm / 12.5" x 9.6" (sheet)
Edition / Paper: One of the unsigned impressions for the book edition on strong velin paper. In addition, 150 unsigned impressions on Rives wove paper as well as 80 pencil-signed and numbered impressions on Arches wove paper with wide margins were published.
